The flat hook with securing device primarily serves to enable a standard lashing strap to be used in combination with the track with pins. Lashing straps with a strap width of 25 mm or tension straps with claw hooks can be used with this fitting. The hook can be hung in the opening or the strap can be threaded through. The locking pin prevents slipping out of the track with pins or lashing eye.
